Florida's Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis drive be hosting a Hurricane Michael insurance village at Gulf Coast State College this weekend.

The CFO drive be bringing together amidst twelve and fifteen insurance companies in instruct for claimants to meet face-to-face with their insurers.

"And we'll be cutting checks. The insurance companies, we did one [insurance village] back in May, there was literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in checks that were cut as claims were closed because the claims process can be overwhelming," said Patronis.

The event drive be held Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patronis says attendees should bring a driver's license, identification, and anything relevant to your policy.
